Multi-Project Safety Animation Suite for Adani Enterprises Ltd.
The Premise
Adani Enterprises Ltd., one of India’s largest and most diversified business conglomerates, operates across high-risk industries such as mining, logistics, power, and infrastructure. To meet the growing demand for scalable, high-impact safety training, Adani entrusted CORE-EHS with the development of a large-scale library of custom 3D safety animation movies.
This ambitious initiative aimed to support multiple projects with site-specific safety visuals, create behavioral alignment across workforce levels, and offer a digital-first approach to safety learning.
The Challenges
Adani’s rapidly expanding project footprint required a centralized training asset deployable across dozens of locations.
Many sites experienced up to 40% variation in safety message delivery, especially during contractor induction and third-party vendor training.
Content needed to be visually realistic, using actual photos, machinery, and site layouts—without compromising intellectual property security.
The training had to be modular and batch-wise, aligned with Adani’s multi-phase rollout strategy and rigorous content review processes.
The Solution
Under SO No. 8130000407, CORE-EHS developed a suite of 100 customized 3D safety animation videos, each crafted with unique visual themes based on Adani project scenarios.
Key Project Highlights:
Plant safety protocols
Contractor onboarding
Specialized SOP training (machine operation, confined space, hot work, etc.)
Utilized CORE-EHS’s in-house model library for general environments and developed custom 3D models of Adani-specific equipment, buildings, and characters.
Adani retained full IP rights to all site-specific models, ensuring exclusivity and content security.
Project delivery managed in milestone-based payments: 50% after scripting, 50% after final handover for each batch.
Delivered in .mp4 format with professional narration, optimized for induction halls, LMS, and internal distribution.
Resulting Benefits
The animation initiative quickly delivered substantial operational advantages across Adani’s projects:
Training time reduced by 44%, streamlining workforce induction at critical sites.
Incident recall and compliance behaviour improved by over 52%, based on internal post-training evaluations.
The standardized content helped eliminate up to 70% of training inconsistencies previously reported by regional EHS officers.
Visual SOPs became an auditable training asset, appreciated by internal and third-party auditors.
Adani recognized this program as a flagship effort in digitizing safety culture and has since initiated similar animation programs across new verticals.
A major oil and gas company operating in the Barmer region of Rajasthan initiated a long-term safety training program at its Mangala Processing Terminal.
A prominent player in India’s energy infrastructure sector, known for its commitment to operational excellence and safety, partnered with CORE-EHS in October 2020.
