1. The Premise

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL), a leading player in India’s renewable energy sector, operates a vast network of solar and wind power plants across the country. With site teams spread over multiple states, AGEL required a scalable, engaging, and standardized method to train its workforce on site-specific safety protocols.

To address this challenge, AGEL engaged CORE-EHS to develop custom 3D animated safety films tailored for multiple AGEL sites, ensuring high retention, language flexibility, and visual engagement—key for training field personnel operating in remote, multilingual environments.

2. The Challenges

• The workforce was geographically dispersed, operating across dozens of locations with varying environmental and operational risk factors.
• Traditional training methods (manuals, static inductions) led to inconsistent safety comprehension, especially among contract staff.
• More than 45% of new recruits had limited exposure to industry-grade safety practices, highlighting a major training need.
• AGEL required rapid deployment of professional-grade animation across 6 project batches within a tight 10-week timeline, all while maintaining brand alignment and compliance.

3. The Solution

CORE-EHS was commissioned under Service Order No. 5710002956 (dated 19.01.2022) to develop six high-quality 3D animated movies, each customized to different AGEL.

Deliverables Included:

• Six custom 3D animated safety movies, each tailored to a different business plant.
• Visual breakdown of:
  • Site entry & access protocols
  • Fire safety and electrical hazards
  • Safe operation zones and PPE compliance
  • Emergency response & evacuation
• Use of on-site references, hazard-specific illustrations, and industry-specific risk scenarios.
• Project phased for 50% milestone payments post-scripting and final delivery.
• Built for use across AGEL’s onboarding centers, LMS platforms, and toolbox sessions.

4. Resulting Benefits

Deployment of the animation content had a tangible impact across AGEL’s training ecosystem:

• Training time reduced by 37%, streamlining onboarding across remote sites.
• EHS managers observed a 55% improvement in SOP recall among new inductees.
