Customized 3D Safety Animation for ITC Limited – AMLF Unit, Kapurthala
The Premise
ITC Limited, one of India’s foremost private sector companies with diverse business interests including FMCG, packaging, and paperboards, operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities across the country. At its AMLF (Agri-Machinery Logistics & Food) unit in Kapurthala, ITC required a tailored 3D animated safety video to drive awareness on site-specific hazards and promote consistent safety behavior.
Given the technical nature of operations and multilingual workforce, ITC partnered with CORE-EHS to create a customized animated training film, with additional voiceover integration to cater to their regional audience.
The Challenges
The safety training team faced issues with information retention and engagement, especially among contract workers with limited formal education.
Manual induction presentations resulted in up to 38% deviation in the delivery of core EHS messages across different shifts.
ITC required an animated film that would align with both corporate EHS branding and local workforce understanding.
There was a demand for an additional voiceover module, to make the content accessible across linguistic groups working within the AMLF unit.
Deliverables Included:
A customized 3D animated safety video, reflecting real hazards, PPE requirements, and operational safety norms specific to the Kapurthala unit.
Professional voiceover scripting and recording, integrated into both the primary and additional language versions.
Full rendering in HD .mp4 format, compatible with ITC’s internal safety systems and training centers.
Visuals based on photographic inputs, SOP documents, and layout references provided by ITC’s local EHS team.
The project followed a milestone-based execution approach and was completed within the 30–35 day delivery window.
Resulting Benefits
Training efficiency improved by 42%, as sessions became more engaging and required fewer manual interventions.
Safety trainers reported a 50% reduction in repeated instruction needs, allowing them to focus on risk audits and behavioral coaching.
Post-training assessments revealed a 61% increase in hazard recall, particularly for high-risk machine zones.
The dual voiceover feature helped reach over 90% of the multilingual workforce, making the message universally understood.
This project highlights CORE-EHS’s ability to adapt safety animation to both corporate standards and site-level realities. With smart integration of visual storytelling and multilingual access, we helped ITC Kapurthala enhance safety culture and operational consistency.
